Take Back the Night (TBTN) is a historical event held across the world to protest sexual violence and the many systemic and societal facets that contribute to it.

Since the early 1970’s, rallies have been held to bring awareness to the widespread issue of sexual violence, to amplify the voices of survivors of violence and to create communities that are safer for all to walk at night.

Oregon State recognizes that all populations who live at the margins are most at risk for experiencing sexual violence and we encourage our community to highlight the voices of those living at the intersections of identities that experience oppression.
